Having a passion for basketball, Kiki El, 10, leaves everything on the court contributing to the win against the Warren Bears. “When I was young, I naturally found myself loving and doing well in this sport, and throughout the years I saw how well my passing abilities were,” El said. “Although teamwork and communication is the most important ability to have.”

Nordstrom gives back

Warren High School senior, Hilda Atunear, wins a $10,000 scholarship from Nordstrom by completing an application process and an interview to be able to stand out with her writing and personality. “When they first walked in to my classroom and said that I had won I could not believe it,” Atunear said. “I was so happy.”
