Isabella Galvez, Editor-in-Chief
As she enters her third year as a writer and first year as Co-Editor-in-Chief for The Downey Legend, Isabella Galvez, 12, is prepared to end her high school career with a strong academic portfolio. With plans to graduate with CSF honors, Galvez uses her skills of hard work and perseverance to keep up with her classes and extra curricular activities in her last year of high school. On campus, Galvez is also a Link Crew leader, and volunteers outside of school for community service. After high school, Galvez plans on using her creativity and passion for writing to pursue a career in either journalism or cinematic arts.
"I always knew I loved to write, but it wasn't until I joined The Downey Legend that I realized there's so much more to writing and telling stories." Galvez said. "I'm grateful to have been able to be a part of the school's newspaper for most of high school, and I know that no matter what I pursue I'm going to use the skills I learned in here with me in the future."
