5 Questions with Osvaldo Zamora

Lucy Hernandez, Writer/Public Relations Manager/ News Editor

Aspiring body builder and model, senior Osvaldo Zamora shares his new passion for working out and his strict five-day workout regimen.

Q1. What motivates you?

A1. I used to be chunky when I was growing up and people used to constantly tease me. When I saw my brother starting to work out, it motivated me to get in the gym and get healthy.

Q2. Why do you want to be a bodybuilder?

A2. Honestly, I like having something to call my own that not everyone else can. It makes me feel good about myself. I want to show people that you can do anything you want as long as you put your mind to it.

Q3. When did you decide to be a body builder?

A3. Actually, just recently. When I first started, I was just trying to get fit but then I liked how I looked and thought I should just take it to the next level.

Q4. What is your workout regimen?

A4. Well, I split it everyday. Monday is chest and tricep day, Tuesday is leg day, Wednesday is bicep and back day. Thursday, I’ll do shoulders and Friday I’ll just do arms. Saturday and Sunday I take off because I have work as a referee.

Q5. Who is your inspiration?

A5. My brother and myself. He used to tell me to go for anything I want. He passed away so I do everything for him so I really want to do this.
