Up-and-coming artist, Tori Kelly, released her newest single “Nobody Love” on Feb. 8 2015. . Kelly is mostly known for her being a contestant of the ninth season of American Idol. Her covers on YouTube caught the eye of Scooter Braun, a well-known music manager, which led to her to be signed with Capitol Records. This single is the first off an, as of now, unnamed upcoming album. Kelly wrote this song with songwriter/producer Max Martin, who is known for co-writing and producing Ariana Grande’s hit single: “Problem”. The two songs have been compared because of their bass-heavy chorus that Martin is known for. In an interview, the artist stated that “Nobody Love” is exactly how she envisioned her music to sound. This song speaks of a relationship that doesn’t seem to have a future. With lyrics like “Try my best to fight it, say I hate you, but I always stay”, she tells how she cannot leave this relationship because “ain’t nobody love like you do”. The “Nobody Love” music video was released on Feb. 26 and features her and her friends singing and dancing in a diner while the workers attempt to stick to the work, but can’t help but dance and sing along. Kelly has already released two full-length albums, but her upcoming album will be her major label debut.
