The lyrics consist of Mescudi pouring his heart out to fans as well as positive words of encouragement such as “Don’t be so down, come on young homie, you’ll be okay, you’ll find real love/ all of the stories, the hero gets lonely/ now is the time to show what you’re made of.” Mescudi let the song out to the public with a positive message of “For you. Hope it brings you some peace if you have a lonely heart out there.” As fans anxiously wait for the release of MOTM3, this single will suffice.
