After her arrival back to America, during Thanksgiving break, following a ten-day mission trip, junior, Victoria Lopez, reminisced about her pilgrimage to Romania, and is eager to return. “I’m actually going back after graduation for three months,” Lopez said, “because I feel like I fell in love with the country. The gypsy family we stayed with were so loving and I felt like I was family.”

During June 23-30, Downey High School student, Valeria Ruiz, went on the French and Spanish class trip with her Spanish teacher to learn about the two different cultures. “I got my shirt at the museum where we saw the Mona Lisa painting” Ruiz stated.
