On Sun., May 17, recording artist Taylor Swift released the music video for her new single “Bad Blood” with American hip-hop artist Kendrick Lamar at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards. Leading up to the date of release, Swift released posters twice a day of characters that would take part in the video. The characters included stars like Jessica Alba, Mariska Hargitay, Ellen Pompeo, and Selena Gomez. The video has mixed reviews about whether all the build-up for the video was worth it. Swift had a total of eighteen celebrities star alongside her in the video, each only playing a minuscule part in the mini superhero-like film. Not all fans are impressed with the turnout of the video; there was a lot of excitement leading up to the video, that there was pressure for it to be perfect. The song has had a lot hype over whether Swift wrote the song about a supposed feud with recording artist Katy Perry. Now that swift has released her fifth studio album, she is focusing on her current world tour.
