I don’t have friends. I got family.

On Mar. 17, 2015, American rapper Wiz Khalifa released “See You Again” as a tribute to Paul Walker in the latest movie in the Fast & Furious franchise, Furious 7. The song features vocals and piano by Charlie Puth. Just like in the film, the music video shows Paul Walker’s character, Brian O’Conner, and Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) drive alongside each other and then separate ways as a symbolic send-off. The song’s lyrics, like “we’ve come a long way from where we began” and “I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again” are touching and significant to the hope of seeing the ones you’ve loved and lost again. The music video features clips of Walker from all the Fast & Furious films he was in. The song holds the record for the most-streamed track in a single day on the music-streaming app, Spotify, in the United States (streamed 4.2 million times on April 13, 2015). The song is a great reminder of the legacy Paul Walker left behind in the Fast & Furious franchise while stirring emotions in the hearts of his fans.
