Beyoncé Gets in Formation

To excite the music industry, Beyoncé announced her tour that is coming to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, where she will kick off her three month show on Apr. 27, performing a total of 38 shows across the United States and Europe.

 

Having a diverse selection of music, junior, Citlaly Orozco considers Beyoncé as one of her favorite artists.

 

“I first heard of Beyoncé when Destiny’s Child was around, ” Orozco said. “I love how talented she is and she is also a feminist.”

 

Formation is now Beyoncé’s fifth headlining tour within a thirteen-year span. In between she co-headlined in her most popular tour, On the Run with Jay-Z.

 

Beyoncé enthusiast, junior, Valerie Gomez, remembers her floor seats during Beyoncé’s On the Run tour.

 

“I was lucky enough to randomly get front seats at her concert,” Gomez said. “It was amazing; I’m really excited for the Formation tour. It’s been too long.”

 

Beyoncé has made a clear statement about her role in society; she continues to share her thoughts and motivate people, especially young girls, in the community.

 

 

Seeing Beyoncé as a role model, junior, Nicole Najera, is excited for the Formation tour to makes its way to Pasadena.

 

“I am very excited for her tour she is a great singer with a great voice,” Najera said. “I like how she is also a role model for many girls growing up.”
Beyoncé has made an impact in the music industry since 1990 and continues to be the topic of discussion in the community. She is now releasing new music and is on top of the charts with her latest song “Formation.”
