Downey High School Dance Winter Showcase December 8th

A winter showcase at Downey High School brought together talented students on December 8th to highlight theirhard work and dedication.

The final moments of the Winter Showcase at Downey High School brought students together on December 8th to celebrate their hard work and end the night on a high note.

Flower station at Downey High School offered family and friends the chance to purchase bouquets on December 8th, giving them a sweet way to celebrate their dancers who worked really hard in the Winter Showcase.

A performance by the Downey High School varsity dance team closed out the Winter Showcase on December 8th,giving students a final display of their hard work and talent.

Destiny Gallardo is a junior in newspaper. This is her first year she is also on the dance team. Destiny joined the dance freshman year. She plans on going to UC Santa Cruz. She plans to be a therapist or an ultrasound technician. Destiny is a very caring person and is willing to help others. “As long as I know that I have God within me, I know there gonna be peace around,” Gallardo stated.
