Davia Gomez, Photographer
First-year newsie Davia Gomez, 12, has a great love for photography. She has chosen her senior year to be more involved with school extracurricular activities such as track, clubs, and the Downey Legend. Gomez is a very passionate and adventurous soul, her love of photography has grown throughout her high school career. She does not intend to pursue it as a career but finds peace behind the lens. She is incredibly outgoing and talkative. Do not be shy to talk to her about baking or reading; she could talk for hours on those subjects.
“I really enjoy being connected to everyone, and photography allows me to do that” Gomez stated. “When it comes to people I can have my full attention, but when it comes to the way I live my life I want to do it all.”
