Natalie Urtez, Photographer
First-year newsie senior Natalie Urtez chose to be a photographer because of her love of photography. Urtez is a welcoming and kind person who enjoys expressing herself through a camera lens. She wants to continue her education by going to the community and then transferring to Cal State Long Beach. Her creativity and optimism can be seen through her work. She is hard-working and has lots of hobbies that allow her to explore her artistic side by painting, drawing, and photography.
“I have always wanted to be a photographer when I grew up” Urtez stated. “I actually want to study forensic science and be the one on the crime scene taking photos.” Urtez not only loves the beauty behind taking a photo but also its advantages. She wants to use her craft in the subject she loves, science.
