In her last year of being involved, Natalie Corona,12, is ready to take on a new environment to help reach her goal of going to a 4-year university and studying abroad. As a reserved bookworm, Corona has always been interested in books and learning about environmental science, coding, and fashion; this inspired her to join The Downey Legend as a writer. Besides newspaper, Corona was involved in various school activities including dance, track, and Glamor G Club. She is excited to meet new people and share their stories with our school community.
“I really love history and I’m really interested in other people's culture and language.” Corona stated. “I really want to be fluent in a lot of languages in the future.”
