Entering the Downey Legend as a first year photographer, sophomore Abigail Lira is ready to become more involved on campus, as she plans on joining a sport and begin participating in clubs. Lira loves to gain artistic inspiration through watching horror movies and listening to artists such as Steve Lacy and Frank Ocean. With her golden retriever, Max, by her side, she hopes to combat her shy personality by one day majoring in Psychology and becoming a therapist that truly listens to people who need the support.
“I like listening to people and their stories” said Lira. “If they’re having problems, being able to help them overcome whatever they’re going through being a good listener is important to me”.
