As she starts her first year on the Downey Legend staff, Eleni Ifantis, 11, wants to explore her creative side. Ifantis describes herself as introverted, ambitious, and creative. She plans to pursue a career in law after graduating from a four-year college. Not only is Ifantis a part of the Downey Legend staff, but she’s also a part of Downey HIgh’s track team, is president of the Erase the Stigma club, and is a part of Teen Court. 

“I joined Newspaper to explore more of my creative side,” Ifantis shared. “I wanted to be a part of something bigger here at Downey.”
