Desteni Vega, Social Media Manager
First-year newspaper photographer, Desteni Vega, 12, is determined to challenge herself with healthy limits in pursuit of her ambitions. Her goals encompass attending an out-of-state college and graduating with a degree in Business Administration. Although she remains undecided about her choice of college, her unwavering commitment to attaining her objectives is evident. Vega's fervent interests lie in film and music, with a particular enjoyment of attending concerts. Looking ahead, she envisions a future in a densely populated city, considering New York or Miami as potential locations. As a fan of local Cuban cuisine, Vega favors Portos and presently holds a position at Handel’s Ice Cream Parlour.
"It compels you to never settle for less than what you have," she stated. "It ignites a desire within me to strive harder."
