Sofia Carrillo, Comic Artist
A vibrant and artistic girl, Sofia Carrillo,12, has been living in Downey since she was little; and loves to express her colorful side through her hair, art, and her work and her long term goal is to become an animator and work for Disney Studio or Cartoon Network. “I have always loved drawing, but when I was a sophomore I started to realizing the next step to go beyond drawing would be animating,” Carrillo stated. “Not only are you drawing something you are giving it a new form and I have always loved telling stories. Animation is just one of those mediums you can best tell a story on.”
