First-year podcaster, Izabelle Gudiel, 12, has joined The Downey Legend in hopes of being able to keep the students of Downey High updated with the latest and greatest news around. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys running cross country and track, spending time with her friends and family, going out, reading, traveling, and being as active as possible. For college, she plans to study business and potentially release her own women's swimwear brand.

As someone who enjoys expressing herself through communication. “The best way to get to know someone is by starting a conversation. You never really know what they’re thinking, so ask them.” Gudiel states, “There are hundreds of languages, nobody can possibly understand them all. What every human understands is the power of laughter. If you can laugh with someone, that’s the best communication.”
