Joining the group immediately because she was familiar with the “Buy Nothing” movement and wanted that type of positivity in her community, Sandra Luz, speaks on how she became the second administrator of BND. “In May of this year, Karina announced that she would be adding a second moderator to the group and asked if anyone was interested. I had no experience but I wanted a chance,” Luz stated. “Karina asked me a few questions and I was chosen as moderator, then in June, I was promoted to administrator.”
