As Germany legalizes their first gay marriage, Amy Torres, 12, reflects on the country’s stepping stone towards equality.  “I feel like I am happy for this because it is just making the world better place for the LGBTQ community,” Torres said. “This makes more people of the LGBTQ community come out of their shell and be proud of who they are as an individual.”
