The Downey Legend

Feeling at peace, Artist Anthony Ochoa, 12, has taken an interest in drawing ever since he has seen the beauty and stories that a drawing can tell just by one’s perspective. Illustrating makes him feel as if he could create something as great as what he has seen. He is inspired by Zillionross, a youtuber and his teacher, “My inspirations are my teachers that helped me draw and a Youtuber by the name of Zillionross.” Ochoa said, “He taught me how proportions work within a character model, how to use shadowing correctly, and he also taught me how to utilize different values to make my drawings stand out.” Ochoa has been drawing since he was thirteen, five years later he is still engaged with visual arts.
