Brielle Madrigal, Writer
As she enters her final year of high school and first year as a writer in The Downey Legend, Brielle Madrigal plans to use her senior year to achieve her goal of playing soccer in college and attending law school to eventually become a lawyer. In her free time, she enjoys reading and binge watching shows such as Game of Thrones, and movies like Gone Girl and Pride and Prejudice. Madrigal’s time in The Downey Legend has allowed her to come out of her shell, express herself through writing, and eventually kickstart her goal to write her own book.
“My favorite thing about newspaper is being able to work with others and collaborate,” Madrigal stated. “Writing has always been something I enjoyed and The Downey Legend gives me a chance to do that”.
