First-year writer, Isabella Perez, is our only freshman on The Downey Legend. Starting her first year strong, she is in honors English and plans on graduating with CSF honors. Some of her future goals include graduating from Arizona State University or UCLA, becoming a pediatric nurse, and traveling and trying new experiences. 

Perez describes herself as caring, open-minded, and friendly. Because she feels so deeply, she often turns to writing as a form of expression. “I’ve always found comfort in writing, especially when I need to be open and honest with myself,” Perez stated. “That’s when I just write.”
