First-year podcaster Dulce Nunez is currently in her Sophomore year of high school, already looking to the future of working in the special victims unit. “I want to be able to help them because detectives can sometimes make you nervous and not want to talk,” said Nunez. She wants to create a safe space for the victims to speak. As Nunez balances school life, she also makes time to take her taekwondo classes, which she has been taking for a year now after school. “It’s good discipline.” Nunez stated. Nunez enjoys reading and watching psychological and crime-related media, which is what paid a part in why she wants to work in the special victims unit.
