In her first year as a photographer, Brianna Murillo is a 10th grader at Downey High School who is part of the newspaper staff, Downey Legends. She is known for being determined, curious, and hardworking. She plays soccer outside of school, where she gets to stay active. Brianna enjoys capturing moments through the lens and says, “I just really like taking photos and letting the picture do its own talking if that makes sense”. After graduating from high school, Murillo hopes to attend UC Davis, where she seeks to become a cardiologist or a neurosurgeon.
