Andrea Laguna , Photographer
Andrea Laguna, a16 year-old photographer, is starting as a staff member of The Downey Legend for her first year. Laguna found her inspiration for photography by spending time with her sister who is also a photographer. She loves to take pictures and wants to try her best at taking quality photographs of school events and the city. “I’m excited to capture footballs games and get out of my comfort zone,” Laguna said. She wants to get more involved in school and be able to bring her photography experience to The Downey Legend.
Some of the hobbies Laguna likes to do when she has time are going to the beach with family, watching football, and looking up new music. She has two dogs, a male chow chow, who is 2 years-old, and a female shittsu, that is 3 years old. After high school she would like to attend Long Beach Community College and is interested in being a 911 operator. Laguna is excited for this school year and what lies ahead of her in the future.
