During his first year as a Downey Legend photographer and last year at Downey High, Aldahir Sanchez (12) strives to showcase his photography skills and creative talents. He aspires to attend a four-year college such as UC Riverside or Cal State Long Beach. Though Sanchez intends to major in civil engineering or computer science, his passions lie in photography and music. Throughout Sanchez’s time at Downey High, he has participated in various sports, including football and volleyball, and has made many memories with friends. Outside of school, he enjoys spending time outdoors and working on his poetry and music.

As he is an outgoing and inventive person, Sanchez strongly believes everyone should do what they love. “Know what you love…enjoy yourself,” Sanchez states. “…and don’t be too boring.”
