The Downey Legend

Jasmine Fernandez
Being ambitious and determined goes a long way, especially for Jasmine Fernandez, 11, who talks about her future goals as a journalist.  “I feel like working for the New York Times is the goal, but I also see myself doing solo, freelance work on my own blog or something like that,” Fernandez stated, “My main goal is to consolidate all of those thoughts onto one space that people can then peruse as I peruse newspaper and magazine websites.”
