Senior Victoria Estrella elaborates on the reasons for her seven-year perfect attendance record.

Q1: When was the last time you were absent?

A1: It was in fifth grade. I was absent for a week because I caught the flu from my brother.

Q2: Do you ever get behind in class?

A2: No, I never procrastinate on my work.

Q3: What do you do when you are sick?

A3: I’ve never got terribly sick after the flu incident, but if I ever get a small cold, I bring tissues to school.

Q4: In your opinion, is coming to school everyday, for seven years in a row, an accomplishment?

A4: I think it is an accomplishment that I come to school everyday.

Q5: Do you have any motives for coming to school everyday?

A5: I don’t want to get behind on work and I want to get all my homework done on the day it is given. Teachers explain the lesson much better than friends and I want to learn something the first time it is taught.
