On Sunday Oct. 12, nearly 16,000 people gathered at Disneyland to participate in the annual CHOC Walk in the Park to support the largest pediatric fundraising event in the country. The single day event raised a grand total of 2 million dollars.

Normaneers take the C.H.O.C walk

On Sunday, Oct. 12, the Normaneers, an all girl’s community club, took a trip to Disneyland to raise money and support The Children’s Hospital of Orange County by participating in the annual CH.O.C....

Every Wednesday afterschool, Warren High School transfer, Daniela Figueroa, 12, works on building a reading printer, in her engineering class, for the school to use. “All these new engineering classes are the only reason why I moved to Downey High School,” Figueroa stated.

During June 23-30, Downey High School student, Valeria Ruiz, went on the French and Spanish class trip with her Spanish teacher to learn about the two different cultures. “I got my shirt at the museum where we saw the Mona Lisa painting” Ruiz stated.
