Being one of the top ten students of her Honors Human Body System class, Hilary Lathrop, 12, got the opportunity to attend a cadaver field trip at the University of California Health Sciences, to further her knowledge on the human body first-hand. “It was amazing to see and hold parts of the human body like the brain and heart, knowing that it was once part of someone just like ourselves,” Lathrop said. “It was just really cool to physically see the things we learn about in class.”
